To post a picture in the blog, the picture or pictures must be located on a web server.
If the picture or pictures are not located on a web server, let's use the web sserver for The Morgan County Democratic Party. Log in to your account, Go to the home page and Click the hyperlink: Edit Your WebS ite Account Information. We can then use the Upload feature. Click the upload button located near the text input field 'Your Picture URL.' You will then be taken to a file upload page. Click browse and browse your computer for the picture you want to use. Select the picture you want to use and click Open. Now click the Upload button to upload the picture to the web server. Once the picture has been uploaded, you will see it on the next web page and the Picture URL of the picture. When you have closed the upload web page, do not click Submit on the Edit Your Web Site Account Information Web Page, just simply click the Blogs hyperlink to go the the Blogs web page to post the picture.
When you uploaded the picture: On the Upload web page you can use you mouse to highlight the Picture OR the Picture URL and right click, copy.
Now post a blog on the Blogs web page.
If you highlighted and copied the picture previously: Go to the HTML Editor where you enter your blog message at and right click in the area and select paste.
If you highlighted and copied the picture URL previously: Go to the HTML Editor where you enter your blog message and click the picture icon located at the top of the HTML Editor. When the popup window appears, hold down shift and press the insert key to paste the picture URL in the text input box. Then click Submit and your picture should appear within the HTML Editor.
Also, if the picture is located on another web page, use your mouse to highlight the picture and right click, copy. Then use the previous directions to right click, insert the picture in the HTML Editor when posting a blog.
